Jiggery Pokery “Poker”

2021 TB Gelding by Frosted out of a Street Boss Mare. Poker stands at 15.2-3 and is currently in a growth spurt. He is built like a quarter horse and is sound with clean legs. He has no vices and is good with other horses. He stands tied, clips, bathes, loads, and is good for the vet/farrier. Poker absolutely loves people and is very personable. He is the first to greet you at the gate and wants to be in your pocket. He is very easy to handle. Poker has been off the track for five months now and has been let down. He is lightly restarted and is a little out of shape. He quietly walk trot canters in english or western tack and is started over fences. He loves the jump chute and was running through it on his own. He is very smart and willing. Poker has the demeanor for a junior/ammy to bring along and the cuddly personality everyone loves. No buck, rear, spook, or bolt. His video was taken with 45 mph winds slapping the indoor and ice falling off the roof and he didn’t bat an eye.

Parker

12 yo Appendix Gelding. Parker stands at 16.1 hands. He is sound with no known injuries. Parker is up to date. He is turned out in a mixed herd. He does lightly crib but is controllable with a collar. He doesn’t bite, kick, or weave. 

On the ground, Parker has excellent manners. He comes right to the gate to be caught and stands tied, clips, bathes, and is good for the vet/farrier. Parker is an easy loader and trailers well. He has a laidback sweet demeanor. 

Parker rides both english and western. He stands to be mounted quietly. He will walk trot canter and picks up both leads. He is comfortable and more whoa than go. Parker has a cute headset and does have a change but it is a little rusty. Parker was previously used in a lesson/summer camp program. He is jumping around 2’ courses currently but has schooled up to 2’6”. He will trail ride alone or in a group and is not spooky. Parker would make a great long stirrup/modified hunter type and would also love to foxhunt/hunter pace. He is beginner and kid safe. No buck, rear, bolt, or spook.

Portland 

10 yo Morgan X QH Gelding. Portland stands at 15.2. He is sound with no known injuries or maintenance. Portland is turned out in a mixed herd and doesn’t crib, bite, kick, or weave. 

In the barn, Portland is easy going with a chill personality. He has good manners and is a gentleman to handle. Portland is easy to catch, loads, ties, clips, and bathes. He is well behaved for the vet/farrier. 

In the arena, Portland rides both english and western. He stands quietly to be mounted from the ground or by a block. Portland has a simple walk trot canter and picks up both leads easily. He has good steering, transitions, and brakes. Portland is jumping small courses with room for more. He is honest to a fence and goes over filler. 

Out on the trails, Portland is a happy and willing partner. He crosses water, bridges, traffic, and is used to dogs. Portland will lead or follow and ride out alone or in a group.

Benji 

2021 Registered Halfinger Gelding. Benji stands at 14.2. He is currently wearing front shoes and is sound with no known injuries or maintenance. He is up to date and turned out in a mixed herd. Benji doesn’t crib, bite, kick, or weave. 

Benji is a puppy dog on the ground. He is very friendly and comes right to the gate to be caught. Benji stands tied quietly, clips, bathes, loads, and is good for the vet/farrier. He is gentle and never pushy to handle. 

Undersaddle, Benji rides both english and western. He has a cute trot and canters off like a quarter horse. Benji stands quietly to be mounted from the ground or by a block. He has great transitions and picks up both leads easily. Benji backs easily and is learning to side passes/ride in a frame. He is started over fences and loves to jump. He doesn’t build and keeps a good pace to the fences. Benji is good out on the trails and will cross water, bridges, and traffic. He has been exposed to dogs/cattle. Salem

Salem has a goofy easy going personality on the ground. He stands tied, clips, bathes, loads, and is good for the vet/farrier. Salem is easy to catch and trailers well. 

Undersaddle, Salem rides both english and western. He stands quietly to be mounted from the ground or by a block. Salem has a nice walk trot and comfortable canter. He picks up both leads easily. Although most of Salem’s miles are on the trails he is taking to the arena well. He has good transitions and is learning to come round on the bridle. Salem is started over fences and is still green to them but is honest. He has also been schooled over cross country fences. Salem trail rides alone or in a group and crosses water, bridges, traffic, and is used to dogs.
